Davis County Date Nights

Restaurants in the Farmington/Kaysville Area Great for Date Night

I often see people asking for recommendations of where to eat on a date night, across various social media channels and groups. What qualifies as a good place to eat for date night varies from couple to couple. It might even vary from date night to date night for a single couple. One night you might feel like a good drive-thru burger and another night you’ll be looking for the highest quality burger in the area.

I’ve put together three Davis County date night dining guides based on area. This guide of restaurants for date night focuses on the Farmington area including Farmington, Kaysville and Fruit Heights. You’ll find a variety of types of food from pizza to sandwiches to international cuisine. This list doesn’t have as many options as the other two in the series, but there are some really great date night restaurants included! Let us know if there are any places on the list that you love to frequent for date night or if there are any you think we should add! I hope this list gives you some new places to add to your list to visit for date night in the coming year.

The Best Restaurants for Date Night in the Farmington/Kaysville Area

Twigs

Twigs is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat for date night. I love the food they have, and I especially love going there for brunch. Make sure you look at the menu ahead of time, because it’s really hard to choose just one thing you want to eat!

P.F. Changs

High-quality Chinese food with some unique dishes. This is a popular place to eat in Farmington, so you’ll want to be sure to have reservations. We love their gluten-free menu and the fresh food they serve.

Sushi Monster

if you like sushi, this Station Park restaurant is a must for date night! We’ve never been, because we’re not sushi eaters, but I’ve heard good things from other people who enjoy it.

Slap Fish

If you enjoy seafood, you need to check out Slap Fish. I’ve been hearing so many good things about them since they opened a little over a year ago.

Cafe Zupas

Sandwiches, salads, and soups! There’s something for everyone at Cafe Zupas and we loved eating here before my husband was diagnosed with Celiac disease. They also have a great takeout process currently.

Caffe Torino

This little cafe is located on Farmington Main Street, just north of State Street. They serve delicious crepes and pastries. There’s a cute patio out back and a few tables in the front, so you can eat outside when the weather allows. Be sure to follow them on social media for information on their seasonal menu and specials.

Sticky Bird

I love the mission of Sticky Bird at Red Barn Farms and the staff that works there! They’re an off shoot of Wingers, with similar menu items and flavors. They have delicious shakes and sides and chicken. Their branding and restaurant decor are just another fun part of the experience.

Santorini’s Greek Grill

This Greek restaurant has been a Farmington staple for a few years now and I’ve heard nothing but good about them! Give them a try and see what you think about their fresh food, sides, and desserts.

Orlando’s

This has probably been our most frequented date night takeout restaurant this year. We love their food, they have a good gluten-free menu, and their curbside pickup is the best! If you like Mexican food, you need to try Orlando’s. You could even stop in just for some chips and salsa to take home and snack on during a movie night.

Lagoon Biergarten

Even when Lagoon isn’t open for the season, their restaurant is! We haven’t been yet, but I’ve heard good things about their food and drinks. Add them to your list to check out, and if the amusement park is open, add some rides to your date night as well.

Tucanos

We were so excited when Tucanos opened at Station Park this past fall because it’s one of our favorites! The experience is a little more expensive than most restaurants, but it’s worth it for the delicious food and fun atmosphere. The restaurant is located on the north end of Station Park, just east of the Hyatt hotel.

Blaze Pizza

Blaze is the Subway of pizza places, you get to pick all of your toppings and watch them build your pizza in front of you. You can grab a half pizza with a side salad, split a pizza and salad, or order a couple of different pizzas to try and share.

Aubergine Kitchen

This restaurant recently opened by Cabela’s in Farmington and has a wide variety of food for everyone. If you have someone in your party who eats vegan, dairy free, or gluten free, this is a great option!

Vessel Kitchen

Vessel Kitchen opened across from Chick-fil-a and has lots of fresh, plant based meal options, as well as meat for those who love that

Waffle Love

Sweet or savory waffles are always a great option for date night! Share something savory for your meal and something sweet for dessert. Or swing by for a treat after your date night activity. They just opened near Cabela’s in Farmington, after leaving Bountiful a few years back.

Vietopia Bistro

This Vietnamese restaurant is located one street north of Fountain Square in Station Park. They serve Pho and many other tasty dishes. They feel like a well kept secret because of where they are located, and would make a great lunch or dinner date option.

Ramen House

Located across the street from the main dining area of Station Park, next to Pizza Hut and Chip Cookie. They tout fresh, Japanese style Ramen if that’s something you love!

If you try one of these restaurants for date night, or if there’s one on the list that you already frequent for date night, let us know!
