My first job was at Pier 49 Pizza in Bountiful, and I’ve always been a bit particular about my pizza ever since. I’ve made it my goal to find the good pizza in Davis County, since Pier 49 no longer has a location in our area, and I love a good pizza! In celebration of National Pizza Day on February 9th, I thought I’d put together a list of the best spots to get a classic, or not-so-classic, pizza, from North Salt Lake to Clinton!
Classic Pizzerias in Davis County
Louie’s Pizzeria
1095 N Main St, Layton
We LOVE Louie’s! Their pizza is delicious, the crust is perfection, and the flavor combinations are unique. I love the Piggy Pie and the BBQ Chicken pizzas best. The most important part of your order should be their cheese bread, with marinara and ranch for dipping. Don’t forget to bring quarters so you can play arcade games in the next room while you wait for your food!

Z Brothers Pizza
1097 S Main St, Centerville // 460 N Redwood Rd, North Salt Lake // 260 S Fort Lane, Suite 103, Layton
You’ll find a few locations of Z Brothers (formerly known as Zeponie’s) in Davis County, but they are unique to Davis County. Their pizza has been a staple for families in Centerville and Bountiful for years. My husband loves their Philly Cheesesteak Pizza, and I’m a fan of The Genoa.
Ally’s Pizza
1296 W 300 N, Clearfield
Locally owned, this pizza spot moved locations in the last few years and is a well-known favorite for families in north Davis County. You’ll find classic pies with unique Ally’s topping combinations, salads, dessert pizzas, wings, and Alzones (their twist on a calzone).
The Pizza Place
198 N Fairfield Rd, Layton
You’ll find New York-style pizza at this pizzeria in Layton! Their menu includes combination pizza, build your own, and bread stixs. I’m not familiar with this spot, but they are recommended occasionally when people are looking for pizza spots locally.
Circle Inn Pizzeria
1060 W 300 N, Clearfield
This pizzeria is a well-known local favorite. Toppings are hidden under the cheese, and the cheese goes almost all the way to the end of the crust! Hot honey is a staple on every table, for good reason. It’s worth drizzling on a slice, no matter what toppings you order, but you can order the hot honey pepperoni as one of their unique menu items.
Salt City Pizza Co.
116 W Gentile St, Layton
There are no tables at this pizza spot, so plan to take your pizza home or for a picnic. If you’re looking for something unique, try their Bacon Hamburger or Taco pizzas.
Lucky Slice
Legend Hills Dr, Clearfield
New York style pizza by the slice is served daily! Check their website or socials for flavors available each day, including monthly specials and seasonal pizzas. You’ll find lots of unique flavor combinations and will never be able to try them all! Lucky Slice is opening a location on Bountiful Main Street soon.
The Pizza Factory
725 W 1700 S, Syracuse
The pizzas, pastas, and calzones here are delicious, but if I’m being honest, I go for the Bowtie Chicken Caesar Salad with a Parmesan Breadtwist and a die of ranch for dipping.
Italian Style Pizza
Ti Amo Wood Fired Pizza
515 W 2600 S, Bountiful
You can’t go wrong at Ti Amo! The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, and the food is beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend starting with a salad, sharing a pizza, and ending with a scoop of gelato!
Pizzeria Limone
71 N 500 W, Bountiful
The pizzas here are colorful and full of flavor, as are the drinks, salad, and gelato. The Pera Pizza, Catana Salad, Pistachio Gelato, and Sicilian Pear Lemonade are some of my most regularly ordered items.
Bartolos - Station Park
895 W E Promontory H-100, Farmington
The Farmington location of Bartolos is the only one that serves pizza. Classic Italian food, and you can add a pizza to your order if that’s what you’re craving!
Unexpected Pizza Spots
Twigs Bistro - Station Park
155 N E Promontory, Farmington
You’ll find a handful of unique pizzas on Twig’s menu and a flatbread alongside their appetizers. Their dough is stretched thin and chewy.
Weller’s Bistro
197 North Main Street, Layton
You can order a classic margherita or veggie pizza, but you’ll also find a German pizza with bratwurst, sauerkraut, whole-grain mustard, and Munster cheese sauce.
Smokin Bones BBQ
364 S 200 W, Bountiful
Pizza and barbecue go surprisingly well together! You can build your own pizza with any of their meats and available toppings. We recommend the Smoked Brisket pizza; you won’t regret trying it!
Roosters Brewing Co.
748 Heritage Park Blvd, Layton
Pizza at a brewery seems fitting. You’ll find classic pizzas, including Hawaiian with jalapenos. But you’ll also find some unique flavors like Chicken Carbonara and Cajun Chicken Ranch.
Pizza Stops That Are Worth the Trip
Via 313
Murray // Draper // Provo
Rumor is that Via 313 will be opening in Davis County this year, and we’re excited! They serve Detroit-style pizza and have gluten-free options that are amazing.
Taboo Pizza
Ogden
Taboo Pizza has two locations in Ogden, and they receive amazing reviews. They also include gluten-free options. Dine-in after 9 pm for delicious late-night specials.
Pier 49 Pizza
Murray // Logan // St. George // West Jordan
I will make a stop for Pier 49 any time I’m in the area! My go-to is Lombard Street (BBQ chicken) or Nob Hill (garlic alfredo chicken), but you honestly can’t go wrong. The sourdough crust is the best part.
Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana
260 S 200 W, Salt Lake City
We miss having Settebello at Station Park. Their Italian pizza is as authentic as it gets, and their gelato is a bonus!
Firehouse Pizzeria
Multiple locations in Box Elder and Cache Counties
When Firehouse was in Centerville, we ate here regularly. Now we visit any time we’re in Logan. My go-to menu items are the focaccia bread, or the new rustic focaccia, a side salad, margarita pizza, and I can never leave without a f’zhookie!
