Whether you’re planning on taking the mom(s) in your life out for a one-on-one date or going out as a family, there are a lot of great places to eat in the area. She’ll love any of the options on this list, I promise! Even better if you choose one with patio dining so you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather that Mother’s Day brings.

Places in Davis County to Take Mom Out to Eat for Mother’s Day

Arella Pizzeria

It had been an ashamedly long time since I’d eaten here, until recently. When we went for date night earlier this month, I was slapping myself for not going more often. Appetizers, salads, pizza, and dessert means a feast! But their foods aren’t heavy, so you won’t go home wishing you’d eaten less.

Pizzeria Limone

With pizza, salads, gelatos, and fresh-made lemonades, Pizzeria Limone is a great place to go for a delicious Mother’s Day meal! The atmosphere at the Bountiful location is bright and fun and they have a small patio for dining outdoors. I haven’t tasted anything that I don’t like from Pizzeria Limone. However, if I were to pick favorites, I would go for the Pera pizza, Sicilian lemonade, Catania salad, and pistachio gelato.

Hug-Hes

This is one of my mom’s favorite places to eat! Their wraps and sandwiches, salads and pastas are amazing. But what I think trumps everything on their menu are their burgers! They’re huge, and could easily be shared, but so so so good! And you can’t forget the beer bread with that delicious butter.

Caffe Torrino

Enjoy various crepes, pastries and drinks on the back patio or in one of the cozy rooms inside the shop. Caffe Torrino always has delicious seasonal flavors for the cronuts and crepes, so I suggest keeping an eye on their social media or calling to see what they have on the menu currently!

Twigs

You cannot go wrong at Twigs! The atmosphere, the unique menu, and the delicious flavors make it one of the best places to eat in Davis County, in my opinion. Whether you’re looking for brunch foods, appetizers and drinks, a full meal, or a delicious dessert, this is the place to treat mom this Mother’s Day!

Sicilia Mia

For a fancier Mother’s Day celebration, and all of the Italian comfort foods, make a reservation at Sicilia Mia in the middle of Station Park. I haven’t been here yet, but I hear nothing but good and it’s on my list to visit soon. They have a flaming wheel of cheese to bathe your pasta in, delicious sounding appetizers, and a fun and unique atmosphere. Mom would be thrilled with a date night here!

Blue Lemon

I love the classic dishes at Blue Lemon and the unique twists they put on them to elevate them beyond your basic, simple, everyday food. They have amazing food, truly; You can’t go wrong with a single thing on their menu. And delicious desserts, which, show me a mom who doesn’t appreciate a good treat!

Cafe Sabor

Tucked back off Main Street, below Layton Parkway, this restaurant is a local favorite for good Mexican style food. The menu is extensive and everything on it sounds amazing. You’ll want to order a few different things and share so you can enjoy it all!

Roosters

If you want to dine al fresco, Roosters might be a great option! Their menu includes everyone’s favorite foods. Tacos, salads, burgers, pizzas, pasta, and sandwiches. It’s been years since I’ve eaten there, which we need to remedy soon. But everyone I’ve talked to who’s been has loved it, and the prices are decent as well
