If it were up to just me to pick where we went out to eat for date night, 90% of the time I’d choose Twigs. To be honest, I’d choose it for all girl’s nights and family dinners out as well. They have a great variety of food, and their menu includes things that are familiar, but they put their own twist on it. The atmosphere is great and they have patio dining! Twigs is everything you could want in a date night location and one of my favorite restaurants overall. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out together, or something more special and maybe even celebratory, Twigs is a great place to go!

The atmosphere at Twigs Station Park is perfect for date night
The atmosphere at Twigs Bistro in Station Park is perfect for date night all year round! You’ll get lots of natural light wherever you sit inside the restaurant, thanks to the walls of windows on two sides of the building. The decor inside is classy but not so fancy that you feel out of place. And the spacing between tables and booths makes for a private feel while you talk and enjoy your meal. They also have patio seating that is perfectly situated for a comfortable meal no matter what time of day you’re there. You’ll have a great view of the fountains at Station Park, especially at night when the lights are on. It doesn’t matter what the occasion is, Twigs provides the perfect setting for connecting and enjoying the company of those you’re dining with.
The food at Twigs Station Park is date night perfection
My biggest dilemma when I go to Twigs for date night is deciding what I’m going to eat. Their handhelds, salads, pizzas, and brunch are all amazing. And then you have a fresh sheet of limited time appetizers, main courses, drinks, and desserts that pop up every couple of weeks and always sound amazing as well! I am a big fan of the Roasted Garlic Burger and love to swap the burger patty out for grilled chicken sometimes. The Toasted Pecan Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken is one I could eat regularly and be happy with. I love the Drunken Donuts, and anything on the brunch menu is a win! Each of the dishes has a Twigs touch to it, so even your classic favorites are going to be elevated and enjoyed in a new way when you’re at Twigs. I have yet to eat something that I didn’t enjoy!
Gluten-free friendly menu options at Twigs Station Park
We especially love that Twigs has a gluten-free menu, with a large variety of choices. The staff we’ve come in contact with on each of our visits have been knowledgeable on what could be at risk for cross-contact based on how it is cooked. We’ve heard great things about their gluten-free buns and pizza crust. My husband has yet to have a disappointing meal or one that makes him sick! If you have food restrictions or special dietary needs, even if it’s not gluten-free, you’ll find something to enjoy at Twigs. Everyone in your party will find something they love and can be happy with, which can be a challenge when you’re dining out.
Brunch at Twigs Station Park
I’m a big fan of brunch, any day and any time. Brunch is only served on the weekends at Twigs, from 11am until 3pm, and the limited availability might make it even more anticipated. There is something for everyone on the brunch menu, whether you enjoy classic breakfast foods or something more special. They also have drink specials you can enjoy with brunch. Brunch might be my favorite thing to go to Twigs for!
Happy Hour at Twigs
If you’re looking to go on a delicious date outside of regular “date night” hours, or if you’re looking to save a bit of money when you go out, Happy Hour at Twigs is the place for you! You can enjoy small plates of some of their most popular dishes, like the Signature Twigs Fries with Gorgonzola Fondue, or the popular Kaluha Pork Tacos. The Chips & Queso includes one of my favorites, the Manchego Cheese Dip, that used to be found at Tortilla Union next door before it closed during the pandemic. Pair those with a drink or dessert for the perfect mini-date. Happy Hour takes place from 3-6pm every day and from 9pm until close on Friday and Saturday nights.
Dessert at Twigs Station Park
Save room for dessert, or plan an outing to Twigs just for something sweet! I have only tried the Drunken Donuts, but I would eat those every time I went if I could. The Sticky Cookie is another great treat on the Twigs menu, perfect for sharing at the end of a date night meal. You’ll often find a limited time dessert option on the Fresh Sheet and those never disappoint. If you have a sweet tooth, visit Twigs for dessert.
Whenever I’m asked for a good date night restaurant recommendation, I always suggest Twigs, on its own or with others on the list. They have happy hour options, delicious dessert, great brunch options on the weekend, and a phenomenal menu year round. I’ve never heard of anyone having a less than ideal experience at Twigs, which speaks to their service as well. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
